The stage offered by the countryside often throws up opportunities for the weather to perform on a grand scale, there are also opportunities to consider Romantic ideals; I sought to capture the human experience and of seeing itself in such conditions. Similarly, the frame of any photograph inhibits the purity of truth through the necessity of cropping. How much can we see beyond what is in front of us? These photographs are cropped and partial in nature as dictated by the mist; revealing only a few facts for the viewer to experience through non-site as the difficulty in seeing is still manifest through the photographs blinkered and peripheral nature.
